Motorcycle stuff

This page is about motorcycle stuff. End of 2008 while living in California I thought about getting a motorcycle. I had never been on a motorcycle before so I took the MSF Basic Rider Course, dropped $28 at the DMV and here we go...

Stuff to read as a n00b, food for thought

Links that I considered to be quite useful in the US:

MSF Basic Rider Course

An absolute must. They teach a lot of stuff that you don't want to find out the hard way.

ATGATT! Say no more.

I got a 94 Ninja EX250 w/ 24k Miles and in a very good condition. After my first days with the bike I must say that I the bike was definitely fast enough for me. Yes, I was a total n00b.

After 6 weeks I put 4000 miles on the bike, I am still more than happy with it. It does nice on the highway, great in the twisties and is a very good commuter bike. Although I am 6'5 I am very comfortable sitting on the bike.

7 months later: 15k miles of fun, a couple of cross country multi day trips and countless rides through the Santa Cruz Mountains. I had to sell the bike when we moved back to Germany.

Then I bought a Yamaha FZ6-N - Sweet bike!

After 2.5 years and over 50.000km on the fz6 I got a BMW F800R?

Here is the MotorcycleMaintenanceLog.

Where to go from here?
